Engine
The 445F2 is powered by a fuel-efficient 163-HP Cummins QSB4.5 Tier 4 Final diesel engine with DOC and SCR aftertreatment. The unit includes an engine block heater as standard equipment.
Redesigned Fuel Tank
49-gallon fuel tank provides 29% more fuel capacity than previous model.
Joystick Control
Hydraulics are pilot operated by dual joystick controls and monitored on a digital display module.
Boom
Offers 180-degree rotation.
Torque Converter
Torque converter has been modified to provide a 16% increase in tractive effort.
Transmission
Dana T20000 3-speed transmission with twist grip electric shift control delivers exceptional torque.
Drive
4-wheel drive with hi/low range includes rear wheel disconnect.
Axles
Redesigned Meritor axles feature HP carrier, industry-standard hydraulic parking brake, and new locking front differential.
Brakes
4-wheel outboard dry disc service brakes provide sure stopping power. Includes SAHR park brake.
Centralized Service
Centralized hydraulic and electrical areas allow for quick, easy maintenance. Tilting cab and engine enclosure provides direct access to service points and machine components.
Hi-Rail
Standard modular hi-rail wheels are easier to replace and reduce replacement wheel cost.
Tires
Front and rear 14.00 R24 all-terrain tires allow travel and simple maneuvering off the track.
Operator Cab
- Featuring ROPS/FOPS with tinted safety glass, the cab includes a full instrumentation panel, rearview camera, air conditioner and heater, and front and rear window wipers.
- Reconfigured overhead dash with integrated digital gauge cluster allows for engine alarms, indicators and diagnostic codes directly from J1939 engine CAN bus.
- Improved, ergonomic passenger side access.
- Access steps have been redesigned to mitigate damage in the field.
